2009 Brings Change In More Ways In The Foster Household

I guess we are changing with the new year. The Foster household has got a new driveway sensor (our old one got ran over by a lawn mower) and within one week we got HughsNet and DirectTV.

It seems we all have our own little gadgets to play with. Michael Scott got a PlayStation II for Christmas, so that occupies his time, Scott got the DirectTV (paying extra just for the Hunting Channel), and I got the HughsNet for my photography business. And poor Preston just sits in his Jumperoo and watches all of us play with our toys.

Michael Scott is going to the Methodist Preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays and really likes it. Although he does not go into detail like his mother would like for him to. I have to drag it out of him of what they did and what they learned and who he played with that day. He's not going to offer any information. Is this just him being a boy or is he just not detailed??? Anyway, I can tell he has learned. Bless His Heart, it's a good thing we started with Preschool just for the reason of him learning to spell and writing his own name. He's about got it down pat. He should be okay for kindergarden.

Preston is just a little over 5 months old and he is trying to do new things. First, he has two bottom teeth (he got those before he turned 5 months), he loves to drink out of your glass and anybody that knows me and Scott know we don't like to drink after each other and really not after our kids. Just think of all that back wash! Yuck!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I'm through with my glass before Preston gets a hold of it. Michael Scott has taught him to blow out his mouth and make noises and if Michael Scott does the sound, Preston will do it too.

Both of the boys love each other sooo much! I wonder how long that will last before they start fighting? Michael Scott can't get enough of Preston and Preston watches every move Michael Scott makes.
